Bob Edwards (Director of Photography) was a vital part of RoS's timeless and enduring success, creating the classic RoS look and atmosphere. So much so that both current "Black Sails" director Neil Marshall and DOP Lucas Ettlin have both "owned up" to being huge fans of the show and have personally expressed how much RoS meant to them.
A fitting and enduring epitaph to Bob's work and visionary talent which not only graced the halls of HTV but also UK TV history in general and of course all of our lives.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and please give my regards to anyone who attends the service and is part of the RoS clan, as I'm currently in Cape Town and will be unable to attend. I know The Merries will be well represented and we'll all be there in spirit.
As Clive so aptly stated: "An amazing reunion awaits us all one day".
